33. TOPBRASS HAWKS BLACKHAWK, "Hawk" GM, Ernie Hawkins

Hawk came to the line at 2:43 pm

Flyer - Hawk charged out to the pond and retrieved his bird from the water

Boat - After an extended hunt between the boat bird and the left retired, Hawk was handled into the water and over to the island to retrieve the bird.

Left - Hawk ran long and wide of the fall area to the left. After passing the water and the berm, he turned right and drove to the bird.

Long - Hawk angled the terraced hill and the berms across the middle of the field and straight to the bird.

Hawk came to the line at 10:41 am

Land - One early whistle from the handler had Hawk reading down the slope toward the small pond. Two handles sent him by the small pond and to the bird.

Water - A couple of whistles blown on Hawk's approach to the cove got him in and out. He crossed to the second pond with  another couple of whistles to get in and cross to the point. He was stopped on the point and cast back into the pond where he to the end with one cast to keep him on line. He exited and went straight to the bird.

Hawk came to the line at 1:22 pm

Flyer - Hawk went straight up to the hill to get his bird

Left - He went down the  mowed path and took a perfectly timed right to put him on his bird

Middle - Hawk went right his bird

Hawk and Ernie came to the line at 4:51 pm

Water Blind - First whistle came 3/4 of the way to the pond that gave a quick adjustment into the water. Two to get Hawk off the front peninsula. Five whistles to get him to the island. Three to adjust his line and catch the far peninsula. Three more in the last cove of the water to guide him nearly 3/4 the way up the hill. Two more whistles to the bird.

Handle - 33. TOPBRASS HAWKS BLACKHAWK, "Hawk" GM, Ernie Hawkins

Hawk and Ernie came to the line at 8:42 am

Flyer - Hawk headed out and left of the mound, straight to his bird.

Left - Swimming out left of the mark put Hawk on the backside of the gunners. He continues to drive up the hill and deep. He is handled to get his bird.

Middle - He swam across and over the point. Hawk went out and drives up the area on backside of retired gun, to drop down and grab his bird.

Hawk came to the line at 8:57 am

Flyer - Went out to get his bird and returned with a wing over his eyes. He located his handler and was ready for the next bird.

Retired Gun - Straight out and back

Blind - Good initial line. First whistle between bales with a gentle whistle to cast to the end.
