Left Flyer -Through the left pothole across the dam he entered the large pond, across the point and re-enter water. Drove the hill to pick up the flyer.
Left Retired - Croc arrives left of the bird. He turned right and on the bird.
Right Retired - He swims through the right pothole. Runs wide right around the pond to come round the backside and loop into the bird.
Right Flyer - Croc went through the right pothole, into the next water and right on line to his bird.
This dog ended the National with a "Special" effort!

Left Flyer - Dude angled in at the front right corner of the small pond. He exited and squared his line a bit, crossing the dam and the peninsula in the large pond. He drove out in the field, tight to the right of the gunners and straight to the bird.
Left Retired - The dog charged down the hill keeping both the small pond and the large pond on the right. He entered the tall cover at the gun station and quickly turned right to retrieve the bird.
Right Retired - Dude took a line down into the pothole pond on the right, across the middle of the island and drove across to the large pond. he crossed the right hand cove and climbed into the peninsula to retrieve the bird.
Right Flyer - He ran down the land bridge between the two small ponds. After crossing the dam, he swam the width of the pond and drove out through the hay field. He ran slightly left of the fall area but quickly changed directions and ran straight to the bird.
Congratulations to Dude for a great job well done on his first National Amateur Retriever Club Championship.

Left Flyer - Good line through the pothole, into the next pond, over the point, over the island and up the hill to the area of the fall. A quick check of the area and to the bird.
Left Right - Lined out to the gun station and with a brief check of the area, he is on his bird.
Right Flyer - Through the right pothole, over the island, on the dam he breaks right along the edge of the pond and comes up back side of the gunners. He works out the area to come up with the bird.
Right Retired (handle) - Initial line took him towards the left pothole where he was handled to his bird.

Left Retired -He angled the front left pond from right to left, crossed the dam and continued to the peninsula and the far cove to exit near the left corner of the pond. A quick turn into the tall cover, Buster ran left and straight to the bird.
Right Retired - The dog swam left of the island in the right hand pothole pond. He crossed the dam and swam through the right cove of the large pond. He exited in the peninsula right at the bird.
Left Flyer - Buster angled in to the left pond holding the same line across the dam and the peninsula. He exited on the far side and ran out past the gunner and straight to the flyer.
Right Flyer - The dog ran the land bridge between the two small pond and swam the open water of the pond exiting on the far shore drifting left and long of the fall area. After one loop deep in the field he charged straight back to the bird.

Right Flyer (handle) - Mully went through the main body of the water on the second pond. Up and out, he is handled to the bird.

Left Flyer -Over the island in the front pond and bending around the right edge of the large pond, he catches a corner of the larger pond to exit and continue pulling left to pick up the hen flyer.
Right Retired (handle) - Through the pothole, he gets to the dam and pulls hard right. His handler put a whistle on to bring him back to the right retired.
Left Retired (handle) - To the edge of the large water and he takes some whistles to get up and to the retired gun and his bird.
Right Flyer - T Bone took a line wide right to get to the area of his fall. he bent left towards the gunner and had his bird.
We're bound to see some more "Amazing" work from this team!

Left Flyer (handle) - Flex swam straight across the left hand pothole pond. Crossed the dam and entered the large pond. he swam out to the point and crossed it on the way to the far shore. He drove out to the field and made a few loops before heading towards the right flyer stations. Johnny blew a whistle and cast him left to pick up the bird.
Left Retired - He drove out to the field taking the high cover and staying left of the water. A loop to the right deep of the gun station got him to the bird.
Right Retired - Flex ran down the land bridge between the two pothole ponds and entered the big pond. He swam to the peninsula and then traveled down the shore to exit on the bird.
Right Flyer (handle) - The dog crossed the right pothole. and swam across left of the island. He exited with right momentum. Flex had to be handled to the bird.
A fine effort from our youngest dog in the 10th series of the 2018 NARC. We are sure to see more of this "youngster."

Left Flyer - Mimi is through the pothole. She enters the next pond and swims past the point and up to her flyer.
Left Retired - Around the water out to the area of the fall. A quick check left and then to her bird.
Right Retired - Through the first pothole and catching some of the water of the big pond, she makes a couple of loops and zeros in on the bird.
Right Flyer - Mimi heads out right of her flyer. Her run takes her along the far right edge of the field and makes her way closer to the gunners. She established a hunt for a few loops and on her bird.

10th Series - Gun Change - Update/Conditions
Our day started clear and has remained sunny to keep lighting conditions the same. Wins is picking up out of the north but the surface of the water remains glass like. We have had two no birds and completed three dogs in the first hour and a half.

Left Flyer -Billie swam slightly left of the center as she crossed the small pothole pond. She crossed the dam and angled in crossing the peninsula and swimming right of the island behind it. Running into the mowed field she approached the area of the fall from the right and went to her bird.
Left Retired - The dog ran by the small pond and the cove of the large pond. Crossing through the tall cover and on to the gun station she turned to the right and retrieved the bird from the long grass.
Right Retired - The dog drove down the hill and swam to the island in the pothole pond in front of the line. She crossed the island, exited on the far side and drove across the area right of the big pond. She turned left into the peninsula and retrieved her bird.
Right Flyer - Billie's swim across the left pothole pond kept her close to the right side. She crossed the dam and swam in open water across the width of the pond. On exit she drove out to the hay field and quickly found her way to the flyer.
What a way to end her hard working week at the 2018 NARC!

Left Flyer - Baker enters the pothole pond. At the top of the dam, he continues his line through the water and across the point, re-entry and completes the drive to his flyer.
Right Retired - Baker crosses the island in the right pothole. He exits out to run right of the area to the fall. he is handled to the bird.

Left Flyer - Gracie launched down the hill and angled the first small pond, crossed the dam and entered the large pond. She crossed the big point and exited the pond left of the island behind that point. She drove out into the field and made a couple of tight loops in the fall area, to retrieve the hen duck flyer.
Left Retired - She ran by the small pond on the left side and caught the first cove of the big pond. She exited and ran straight to the tall grass to retrieve the bird.
Right Retired - She ran down the hill and crossed the right hand pothole pond swimming out to cross the small island. She ran straight out to the peninsula staying right of the water and retrieved the bird from the tall cover.
Right Flyer (Handle) - Gracie swam to the left side of the island and exited angling away from the large pond. She checked down just deep of the right retired. The handler put a whistle on her and cast her back & left. She ran deep of the gun station and quickly found the bird.
She finished the 2018 NARC with grace.
