10th Series - Test Dog #2, FC-AFC Rockliffs Chopper Chipper, LM "Chipper"

Chipper with owner / handler Sally Foster came to the line at 8:20 am

Left Retired - Chipper ran through the tall cover in front of the ponds and rolled outside the left retired gun station before finding her pheasant in the tall grass

Left Flyer - Crossing the left small pond and the large pond, Chipper crossed the prominent point, exited the far side of the pond and drove out past the bales to the bird.

Right Retired - Chipper ran down the land bridge between the two small ponds into the cove in the large pond and climbed out onto the peninsula to retrieve the bird.

Right Flyer - The dog entered the left pothole pond and swam up the middle on the similar line he took to the left flyers. He swam to the left point in the large pond and the handler blew a whistle to handle him to the right. He exited in hay field and a couple more whistles were down to the bird.

10th Series - Test Dog #1, FC-AFC Parriettes Abby Gale, LF "Abby"

Abby with owner / handler David Zalunardo came to the line at 7:58 am

Right Flyer - She enters the first pool, and goes over and down, she enters next water, goes across the point, re-entering up and to the right of the area. She establishes a hunt and works into her rooster flyer.

Left Retired - Launched for her left bird, she runs wide left behind the gunners. She establishes a hunt deep and works her way down and hunts the cover area to retriever her bird.

Right Retired - Swimming through the first pond, over the dam and around the edge of the pond to pick up her bird.

Left Flyer - She entered the pond below taking almost the identical line as the first retrieve, she drives through the hill and makes a couple of loops to her bird.

9th Series - Test Dog 2 – FC-AFC Parriettes Abby Gale, LF "Abby"

Abby and owner / handler David Zalunardo came to the line at 7:48 am

Left Flyer - Picked up quickly

Right Flyer - Squaring the first piece of water to the other side of the pond and drove up to get the bird.

Right Retired - Exited the pond and hunted hillside and came back with the pheasant.

Left Middle - Abby headed for the water and was handled to the other pond to pick up her bird.

9th Series - Test Dog 1 – FC-AFC Rockliffs Choppers Chipper, LM "Chipper"

Chipper and owner/handler Sally Foster came to the line at 7:38 am

Right Flyer - Bird landed at the end of the cover strip, Chipper retrieved the bird quickly.

Left Flyer - Through the pot hole to bird. Gunners came out after the flyer was picked up.

Left Middle - The duck didn't quite hit the island, the bird was picked up. The throwers retired again.

Right Retired - Good line through the pond, but Chipper cut up early and went too far. A couple of loops on the hillside to come down on the bird.

Test Dog 2 – 8th Series – FC-AFC Rockliffs Chopper Chipper, LM "Chipper"

Chipper came to the line at 8:20 am

Flyer - Hit the area of the fall short, he hunted before she went deep of the area. He came back and found his bird

Boat Bird - He established a hunt deep and left of the gun station. He worked his way over to the bird

Left Retired (Tree Bird) - Over the berm and left of the water out to the area, with a right turn Chipper went over to the bird

Long Retired - Over the berm area and out through the cover and puddles. He headed for the mound, went right of the mound, bent around and correct himself to work out the mark.

Test Dog 1 – 8th Series – FC-AFC Parriettes Abby Gale, LF "Abby"

Abby came to the at 8:05 am

Flyer - Quickly returns with her duck

Boat Bird - Passing by the end of the berm, she cuts through a band of cover to cross water to the bird

Left Retired (Tree Bird) - She went over the berms. To the water and back then hunted short, handling her way deep of the tree and back into the bird.

Long Retired - Good initial line, lost on the drive with the multiple berms and water filled ditches. Handle to mark.

Test Dog 2 - Abby - 6th & 7th Series

Please note the judges have made an adjustment to the placement of the bird for the land blind

Abby came to the line at 7:47 am

Land - First whistle before the pond. Through the slot between the two ponds. Two more whistles to get on the bird

Water - 7:50 am - Down the slope and into the dog bone pond. Two whistles as the dogs comes out of the pond and the handler tries to hit the first cove of water. Missed the first water and was cast of the first point. Multiple whistles to exit the water and to the bird.

Test Dog 1 – Chipper – 6th & 7th Series

Chipper came to the line at 7:32

Land - First whistle at the pond, had trouble getting the move right. Chipper finally got lined and to the blind

Water - Good entry into the dog bone pond. Cast to the other pond, dog squared into the pond pushing him out and requiring some effort to get and across the scented point. He came off the point and was not easily visible. A few whistles and the blind was completed.

5th Series – Test Dog #2 – FC-AFC Rockliffs Choppers Chipper, LM

Test Dog #2 – LM, Chipper with handler Sally Foster came to the line at 7:52 am

Heading a little left on his way to the flyer, Chipper corrects as he moves through the field to get up the hill and across the road to set up a tight hunt on the hillside for the hen pheasant. Chipper looks committed to the left gun. He gets to the tree and treads left to establish a small hunt before moving to the right of the tree to pick his bird. Locked on the middle bird, Chipper is through the water, running some of the mowed paths, he makes a couple of loops before heading over to correct side and gets the bird.

5th Series – Test Dog 1 – FC-AFC Parriettes Abby Gale, LF

Test Dog 1 - LF, Abby with handler David Zalunardo came to the line at 7:45 am

Abby is through the water and drives the terraces. She went over the road and into cover for the bird. A good angle entry into the small pond, she bent around to pick up the middle bird. Lined up for the left hand bird, she angled across and runs down the mowed path making a couple of loops around the tree and then to the left of the tree before moving over to the right side and picked up her bird. Abby then moves to the honor box.

2nd Test Dog - 4th Series - FC-AFC Parriettes Abby Gale

Abby with handler David was brought to the line for this Water Blind

Water Blind - First whistle came before the water. Abby went up and off the edge, holding the line over the island and up and out the water. She then went through the cover and up the to the bird.

1st Test Dog - 4th Series - FC-AFC Rockliffs Choppers Chipper

Chipper came to the line with handler Sally Foster

Water Blind - First whistle was at the edge to put him into the water. Three more to try to move the dog over. More whistles to move the dog to the center of the pond and island area. A few more to exit and the pond and to drive up the hill to the blind

Series 3 – Test Dog 2 – FC-AFC Rockliffs Choppers Chipper "Chipper," LM

Chipper and owner/handler Sally Foster came to the line at 6:56

Flyer - Right to the bird

Left - Nice water entry. Just a tad left but he corrected when he go to the ditch.

Middle - Out to the bird and back in

Series 3 - Test Dog #1 - FC-AFC Parriettes Abby Gale "Abby", LF

Abby and owner/handler David Zalunardo came to the line at 6:46 am

Flyer - Across the pond and to the area of the fall, a tight hunt with in the area

Left - Across the pond again and into the ditch, back with the bird

Middle - Excellent line thru the pond, down back side of the ditch, through the grassy and into the second pond, out at the end and on the bird.

1st & 2nd Series - Test Dog 2 FC-AFC Parriettes Abby Gale "Abby", LF

Abby with handler David Zalunardo came to the line at 7:33 am

Flyer - Abby went out to the flyer in good speed

Retired Gun - She did a pass and to her bird

Blind - Lined the blind!

1st & 2nd Series - Test Dog 1 FC-AFC Rockliffs Choppers Chipper "Chipper", LM

Flyer - Chipper went out to the flyer with a quick pass and he picked it up

Retired Gun - He went out to the area and back with the bird

Blind - Line out 3/4 the way, a quick whistle and on the bird.
