Handle - 35. FC-AFC BOB AND ED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, "Chef" LM, Ed Krueger

Came to the line at 8:37 am

Flyer - Chef drove out to the flyer through the tall grass and retrieved his bird from the water

Boat - He crossed through the patches and mowed area to got straight into the pond. He swam out to the island and made a quick retrieve.

Left Retired (Tree Bird) - Chef angled the terraced hillside and approached the fall area wide and left. He drove deep and climbed the hill behind the area of the fall before returning back, where he made a couple of passes in the shallow water of the ditches, hunted up the berm to retrieve his bird

Long Retired - Chef had an extended hunt and was handled to his bird.

Chef came to the line at 10:52 am

Land - One cast on the side hill sent Chef toward the small pond, and another two got him to it. He passed the pond in the left end and needed only one additional whistle to stop him at the bird

Water - Chef took an initial line all the way down the hill and half way across the cove. He was stopped once in the water to adjust his line which he carried out of the cove and into the second pond. He cast on and off the point and one more cast got him to the end of the pond right online with the bird. he ran up the mound and go the bird.

Chef came to the line at 1:28 pm

Flyer - Chef's line to the area was wide left. Put a modest hunt up behind the left side of the gunners but worked right get his bird.

Left - He went out to the area and turned left to put a tight hunt deep and left.

Middle - Chef arrive at the fall area. He came in behind the gunners, turned left and out to the bird

Chef and Ed came to the at 5:05 pm

Water Blind - Two whistles on the approach to the channel kept Chef in the center and on line. He quickly climbed onto the front peninsula and cast off in one whistle. He crossed the island and was stopped on the far peninsula. One cast into the far channel sent him to the exit point and into the tall cover. Two more whistles in the field to carry the dog to the bird.

Chef and handler Ed Krueger came to the line at 9:03 am.

Flyer - Chef entered the water and goes right of the mound to drive straight to the bird.

Left - Swimming left of the island, he exits on a good line to the bird. A quick turn and back in the scent area to get the bird.

Middle - Good line with a swim through the entire length of the rectangular pond. He’s out and at the area of the fall to make the retrieve.

Chef came to the line at 9:06 am

Flyer - Quick turn and Chef was headed back with his bird

Retired Gun - Very quick recovery of his bird and ready for the blind

Blind - Early whistle that carried him half way out. Two whistles to adjust the line through the bales and two more to finish.
