Land - Two whistles and casts got Ripley down to the small pond which he entered on the left end. Another two whistles after he exited took him right to the blind.
Water - One early whistle corrected the dog's initial line and a second sent him down the hill and into the cove. He crossed the cove and was stopped upon exiting. The handler cast him back to the second pond and handled him on and off the point. A couple of whistles kept him centered in the pond and he exited the pond just below the bird on the mound which he quickly retrieved
