Dude with owner / handler Kerry Lavin came to the line at 12:26 pm

Left Flyer - Dude angled in at the front right corner of the small pond. He exited and squared his line a bit, crossing the dam and the peninsula in the large pond. He drove out in the field, tight to the right of the gunners and straight to the bird.

Left Retired - The dog charged down the hill keeping both the small pond and the large pond on the right. He entered the tall cover at the gun station and quickly turned right to retrieve the bird.

Right Retired - Dude took a line down into the pothole pond on the right, across the middle of the island and drove across to the large pond. he crossed the right hand cove and climbed into the peninsula to retrieve the bird.

Right Flyer - He ran down the land bridge between the two small ponds. After crossing the dam, he swam the width of the pond and drove out through the hay field. He ran slightly left of the fall area but quickly changed directions and ran straight to the bird.

Congratulations to Dude for a great job well done on his first National Amateur Retriever Club Championship.

Dude came to the line at 9:17 am

Right Flyer - Through the strip of the cover and back with the hen

Left Flyer - Dude goes quickly to the water and re-enters the pot hole and up the hill for a quick snag of the bird

Left Middle - Good entry into the pond to work around the area and back with the bird.

Right Retired - Swimming past the larger island he hits the land right on the bird.

Dude came to the line at 2:01 pm

Flyer - Good flyer.

Boat - Quick swim and he got his bird.

Long - Squaring over the berms Dude goes deep and right of the Left Retire gunner station. He works his way right and to the berm with the long retired gun.

Left - Very good mark.

Colby came to the line at 8:32 am

Land - Dude launched on the side of the hill staying high. A couple of cast got him down to the right corner of the small pond. The next whistles and cast drove him out close to the bird and another whistle and cast got him to the bird

Water - The handler gave one cast from the initial line to get Dude into the cove of Dog Bone Pond. One more cast at the exit, sent him across to the second point and crossed it to re-enter the water. he was handled to keep him in the middle of the pond and in line to the blind. His exit took him to the mound and straight to his bird.

Dude came to the line at 10:45 am

Flyer - Dude quickly crossed the ponds in front of the line and run up the hillside to his bird

Middle - He went left of the gun station and straight to his bird

Left - He came out of the pond and ran across the field directly to his bird

Dude and Kerry came to the line at 2:48 pm

Water Blind - Dude entered the water in the center of the channel after two early whistles to keep him tight to the line. He cast on and off the front peninsula and swam toward the island. One whistle got him up on the island and back into the water. A cast sent him onto the far peninsula where the handler cast him back to the channel and to the exit point. Two more whistles got the up the hill and to his bird.

Dude and handler Kerry Lavin came to the line at 5:17 pm

Flyer - Big splash into the water, he went up and over the mound. He ran to the area of the fall and right to the bird

Left - Dude passed by the left end of the island and arrived at the ditch where the bird had landed. A quick look and he located the bird and headed back to Kerry.

Middle - He got across the water, over the point and down the back side of the dam. Running wide left of the rectangle pond, he came in behind the gunners to pull out his bird.

Dude came to the line at 3:50 pm

Flyer - Dude went straight to the flyer and then returned with the wing over his eyes

Retired Gun - He got straight to the bale where the bird was for a quick return

Blind - First whistle about 1/3 of the way out. Next two whistles got the dog through the bales. Several more around the blind to the bird
