Flex with owner / handler Johnny Armstrong came to the line at 10:37 am

Left Flyer (handle) - Flex swam straight across the left hand pothole pond. Crossed the dam and entered the large pond. he swam out to the point and crossed it on the way to the far shore. He drove out to the field and made a few loops before heading towards the right flyer stations. Johnny blew a whistle and cast him left to pick up the bird.

Left Retired - He drove out to the field taking the high cover and staying left of the water. A loop to the right deep of the gun station got him to the bird.

Right Retired - Flex ran down the land bridge between the two pothole ponds and entered the big pond. He swam to the peninsula and then traveled down the shore to exit on the bird.

Right Flyer (handle) - The dog crossed the right pothole. and swam across left of the island. He exited with right momentum. Flex had to be handled to the bird.

A fine effort from our youngest dog in the 10th series of the 2018 NARC. We are sure to see more of this "youngster."

Came to the line at 12:02pm

Right Flyer - Flex ran straight to the bird.

Left Flyer - He angled left across the pond and through the pothole. He made one loop on the hill left of the gunners, then ran over to the bird.

Left Middle - Flex crossed the water to the island, swimming by the point, straight to the bird.

Right Retired - He swam out to the large middle island and crossed it heading for the shore. He drove long and left of the retired guns, quickly checked down and turned back down to get his bird.

Handle - 53. FC FLAWLESS EXECUTION - FLEX QAA, "FLEX" LM, Johnny Armstrong

Flex came to the line at 9:42 am

Flyer - Out to the area, a right to the bird and back in.

Boat - Flex made swift work of the bird on the island.

Long Retired - Covering ground quickly, Flex is up the back side of left retired gun but drives out to put a couple loops on and brings back the long retired

Left Retired - Following a similar path for the left retired, he is stopped deep with a whistle. He is over to area but takes a bit effort and a handle to come back with the bird.

Flex - came to the line at 11:55 am

Land - Three whistles and casts directed Flex across the hillside and down to the small pond. One more handle sent him across the middle of the pond and out the other side. Two casts got him to the bird.

Water - Flex headed down to the pond a little left of the cove. A quick cast got him into it right of the left most island. He swam across and made his way to the second pond entering the water on one cast and swimming to the point. One whistle stopped him on the point before he re-entered the water. He hugged the left shore and was cast right to swim down the pond and exit left of the bird. A last cast got him on the mound and to the bird.

Flex came to the line at 2:34

Flyer - Flex went straight up the hill and on the bird

Left - He angled through the water came out right to his right to the bird

Middle - Flex went right out to his bird. Very nice

Flex and Johnny came to the line at 6:05 pm

Water Blind - Flex hit the water in the center of the first channel. One whistle cast him up and over the peninsula and he was on his way to the island. A couple of quick handles got him on and over the island and up onto the far peninsula. He took the cast off the far peninsula and swam up the channel to the exit point. Two casts from there got Flex to his bird.

Flex and handlers Johnny Armstrong came to the line at 8:46 am

Flyer - Nice speed and style to the flyer for a quick return

Left - Flex had a big splash into the water on a good line to the bird. In the ditch and back out with his bird

Middle - Flex entered the pond at a good place to establish a good line down the length of the rectangular pond and directly to the bird.

Flex came to the line at 10:41 am

Flyer - Flex went straight out and to his bird

Retired Gun - He drove out slightly long of the bale where the bird lay. He checked down and turned to pick up his bird

Blind - One quick whistle off the line. One to adjust and one to get through the bales and a few more to get him to the bird.
